La Cité's economic and societal productions

La Cité also produces major events on economy and society. Our specialised team takes charge of the organisation and stages events based on areas such as sustainability or society.

Two key areas: sustainable development and digital technologies.

Since 2013, economic productions have proved to be front-line events with no less than 10 meetings, either organised or coordinated by La Cité. Trade shows, conferences, international summits, symposiums and theme weeks, they reflect the great variety of formats and disciplines possible:

  • 2013: Ecocity World Summit 2013, World Forum on Human Rights
  • 2014: Digital Intelligence, Nantes Digital Week #1
  • 2015: Velo-city 2015, Nantes Digital Week #2, K·nopée, Greenweek Nantes-Pays de la Loire
  • 2016: Nantes Digital Week #3, Climate Chance 2016

Since 2013, over 300,000 delegates across the world have come to Nantes to attend the different events which have become powerful tools in the coordination of networks and players, and in the promotion of international synergies.

By making the production of economic and societal events a strong strategic focus, la Cité intends to be a key player and take part in the outreach and attractiveness of the region.

La Cité’s productions on economy and society:

  •  Specialised skills (project management, communication, etc)
